When rent is due and the money isn't there, the panic can feel overwhelming. When the electric company sends a shutoff notice, the stress is real and immediate. If you're in the Lake Travis area and facing a financial emergency, Lake Travis Crisis Ministries may be able to help bridge the gap.

Financial Assistance We Provide

LTCM offers limited financial assistance for a range of urgent needs, including rent and mortgage payments, electricity, water, and gas bills, car-related expenses, medical costs and prescriptions, eyeglasses, long-distance bus tickets, and even GED test fees. The amount of assistance depends on current resources, and each situation is evaluated individually — we meet people where they are.

This Is Short-Term Crisis Support

Our financial assistance is designed to help during a temporary crisis — not as a long-term income source. If you've hit an unexpected wall, LTCM is here to help stabilize your situation while you find your footing. We also connect neighbors with longer-term resources when needed.

LTCM responded to over 4,000 requests for food and financial assistance in a single year, impacting the lives of more than 13,000 individuals in the Lake Travis community.

What You'll Need to Bring

For financial assistance requests, please bring copies of your bills, invoices, and other relevant documents when you visit. This helps our volunteers understand your situation and process your request as efficiently as possible.

When to Come

We are open Wednesday 5–7 PM and Thursday 10 AM–12 PM at 1304 Ranch Road 620 North, Lakeway, TX 78734. Walk-ins are welcome during these hours.
