Make an Impact Today

Every dollar stretches further when we can buy exactly what’s needed, to help a Lake Travis family stay in their home, keep their utilities running, & have food for the week.

$100 helps a neighbor keep the lights on or put food on the table during a month they couldn't make ends meet.

$200 gives a family in crisis breathing room — covering a past-due bill, a week of groceries, or both.

$500 helps a Lake Travis family stay in their home, keep their utilities running, and have food to get back on their feet.

Why Give?

  • Three people are loading cardboard boxes of strawberries onto a truck. They are wearing masks and gloves, working in an outdoor setting.

Provide immediate help to neighbors in crisis

Your gift puts food, clothing, hygiene items, and emergency assistance directly into the hands of people who are struggling right now. These essentials stabilize families and prevent hunger, eviction, or worse.

  • Group of diverse young people gathered on church steps, posing and making playful gestures, with a church building in the background under a clear blue sky.

    Support long-term recovery and self-sufficiency

Contributions fund case management, job search support, financial coaching, and connections to housing and healthcare resources. That helps people move from crisis to stability and independence.

  • People sitting and chatting inside a cozy café with green hanging lamps and wooden shelves filled with products in the background.

    Strengthen our local community

Giving keeps resources local. Lake Travis Crisis Ministries serves families, seniors, veterans, and children in our own neighborhoods. When our neighbors thrive, the whole community is safer and stronger.

  • People wearing masks and gloves preparing meal packages at an outdoor service event with tables full of paper bags and boxes under a white canopy.

    Maximize impact through efficient stewardship

Donations are used responsibly to meet the most urgent needs and to expand services. Volunteers and staff stretch every dollar, so a modest gift goes a long way.

  • People praying in a doorway with children inside.

Respond to crises quickly and compassionately

Natural disasters, sudden job loss, or medical emergencies happen without warning. Your support ensures we can respond with speed, dignity, and care when people need it most.

  • Group of nine boys standing in a room, some holding canned goods and paper, with bulletin boards and office supplies visible.

Empower volunteers and create meaningful connections

Gifts support volunteer programs that provide hands-on help and build relationships. Many donors also choose to volunteer, turning financial support into personal involvement.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • LTCM is funded entirely by the community and run 100% by volunteers — meaning nearly every dollar donated goes directly to serving neighbors in need.

Monetary donations fund two things: food purchasing through the Central Texas Food Bank and local suppliers, and direct financial assistance for neighbors facing crises like past-due rent, utility shutoffs, and emergency expenses. Food donations stock our pantry shelves directly.

  • Yes! We gratefully accept food donations that are commercially packaged on Wednesdays from 5PM-7PM and Thursdays from 10AM-12PM at our address: 1304 Ranch Road 620 North #100, Lakeway, TX 78734.

Additionally, many local churches and partner organizations run regular food drives to support our pantry. You can coordinate drop offs with churches like Lakeway Church, Emmaus Parish, Presbyterian Church of Lake Travis and Lake Travis Union Methodist Church.

  • We would love that. Community-organized drives are one of the most meaningful ways to support our work. Reach out to us through the Contact Us page and we'll work with you to make it happen.
