Lake Travis Crisis Ministries is 100% volunteer-run — every person who walks through our door is helped by someone just like you. We have a few types of volunteer roles:

🚘 HEB Donations Pickup: Wednesdays at 7:30 AM at HEB Lakeway. SUV / Pickup truck required and will lift up to 30lbs.

🍽️ Pantry Volunteer (join the waitlist): Wednesdays 4:45–7:00 PM and Thursdays 9:45 AM–12:00 PM at 1304 Ranch Road 620 North #100. Will lift up to 30lbs. High School students are welcome!

💻 Skills-Based Volunteer: Flexible hours — work remotely or on-site.

🏘️ Community Volunteer: Flexible hours — organize fundraisers and food drives with your community.

  • Organize a Food Drive or Fundraiser for LTCM

    One of the most meaningful ways to volunteer is to help your school, business, or neighbors serve together.

    🍽️ 🤝 Food Drive: Collect shelf-stable, non-perishable items. The most needed goods include: Canned meat, vegetables, beans, and fruit; Peanut butter and jelly; Cereal and snack bars; Water, juice, and sports drinks; Diapers (children and adult sizes); Toiletries and personal care items. All donations must be brought in person during open hours.

    💰🤝 Monetary Fundraisers: Raising money instead of collecting goods? Every dollar goes directly to food purchasing and financial assistance for Lake Travis families. Donate collected funds here or bring a check for ‘Lake Travis Crisis Ministries’ to our address.

  • Volunteer at Ladies of Charity Lake Travis

    The Lake Travis Thrift Shop, run by the Ladies of Charity Lake Travis, is a charity store with a big heart. Every dollar supports LTCM and 50+ local organizations. If you love thrifting, people, and putting your time toward something meaningful, this is a great place to serve. LTCM clients are also welcome to use clothing vouchers redeemable at the shop.

  • Volunteer at Lake Travis Union Methodist Church

    Lake Travis UMC has been a steadfast partner and supporter of LTCM for years. Their congregation lives out a genuine commitment to loving their neighbors — and they back it up with action. If you're looking for a faith community that puts service at the center, LTUMC is a wonderful place to plug in, worship, and find your own way to give back.
